About the Role
Permanent, Full Time Teaching Hours, 52 weeks per year.

We are looking for a class teacher to take on the following
responsibilities:-

Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that meet
the needs of all learners.
·
Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials
and learning opportunities.
·
Build on pupils’ prior knowledge and abilities
to support strong progress and achievement.
·
Support every child to succeed, including pupils
with SEND, EAL, disabilities, and those who are gifted and talented.
·
Use effective teaching approaches, including
early reading strategies such as Read Write Inc where appropriate.
·
Promote excellent standards of literacy and
communication across the curriculum.
·
Use assessment and feedback effectively to
celebrate progress and help pupils grow in confidence.
·
Provide meaningful feedback and encourage pupils
to reflect on and improve their learning.
·
Use assessment information to guide planning and
set achievable targets.
·
Set purposeful homework and enrichment
activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
·
Create a positive and well-managed classroom
environment in line with school policies.
·
M1 - UPS 3: £32,916.00 - £51,048.00 FTE

Honours degree related to Primary Education or a curriculum
subject is desirable.
·
Qualified Teacher Status.
·
Evidence of sustained participation in INSET/CPD.

Well-motivated, enthusiastic with a can-do
attitude.
