About this Role

Enfield Heights Academy is a happy, high-achieving and inclusive primary school, ranked in the top 10% nationally for outcomes. We are proud to serve a richly diverse community, where every child is known, valued and inspired to thrive. Our vision goes beyond academic success—we are committed to developing the whole child, nurturing curiosity, creativity and confidence.  Joining our team means becoming part of a passionate, caring and forward-thinking group of educators and support staff. We work together to make a real difference in children’s lives, and we are looking for individuals who share our values and believe in the power of education to transform futures.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND and Inclusion Lead to join our senior team and play a key strategic role in shaping the future of inclusive education at Enfield Heights Academy. This is a unique opportunity to lead, influence and drive best practice in SEND provision, inclusion and pastoral care across the academy. You will champion the needs of all learners, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or ability, receives the support, challenge and care they deserve.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and compassionate leader, with a strong understanding of SEND frameworks, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to creating a nurturing, high-aspiration environment for every pupil. You will work closely with staff, families, and external partners to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching and meaningful progress for all.

We are looking for someone who holds the National Award for SEN Co-ordination with substantial experience in a SEND leadership role. A deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding responsibilities and inclusive teaching strategies is essential.

If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
