What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND and Inclusion Lead to join our senior team and play a key strategic role in shaping the future of inclusive education at Enfield Heights Academy. This is a unique opportunity to lead, influence and drive best practice in SEND provision, inclusion and pastoral care across the academy. You will champion the needs of all learners, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or ability, receives the support, challenge and care they deserve.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled and compassionate leader, with a strong understanding of SEND frameworks, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to creating a nurturing, high-aspiration environment for every pupil. You will work closely with staff, families, and external partners to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching and meaningful progress for all.
We are looking for someone who holds the National Award for SEN Co-ordination with substantial experience in a SEND leadership role. A deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding responsibilities and inclusive teaching strategies is essential.
