We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team,
on a part-time basis of 3 days per week from Mondays to Wednesdays.
At St George’s we strive to
offer every pupil a strong, secure learning environment, supporting them to be
the very best that they can. You will play a vital role in helping us to
achieve this as they provide high level support for pupils in class.
Reporting to the SENDCo and working within your designated Subject
Department, you will provide a high level of first class support for pupils in
all Years 7 to 11 in the classroom, within small groups and individually. The
majority of the support takes place within a student’s timetabled day under the
direction and guidance of the class teacher.
The successful candidate should
have:
Grade: H3 (Full-time equivalent salary from £25,583 to
£25,989 per annum, plus annual outer fringe allowance of £729)
Hours: 20 hours 15 minutes per week across three days (Mondays to Wednesdays), Term time plus 1 week
Working hours: 8:30
am - 3:45 pm, including 30-minute unpaid lunch break (with free lunch on site)
Actual Salary: £12,317 to £12,507 per annum, inclusive of outer fringe
allowance

The first referee should normally be your current or most recent
employer. If you are currently working in education, a reference from the
Headteacher / equivalent person in Senior Leadership Team is required. If
you are not currently working with children, please provide a referee from your
most recent employment involving children, if applicable.
References from relatives or from people writing solely in the capacity
of friends will not be accepted.
