Teacher of Art

Contract: Permanent/Full Time

Salary: MPS/UPS + fringe

The post is equally suitable for an ECT as well as experienced teachers, and offers an excellent opportunity to receive support through our comprehensive ECT and CPD programmes. 

The successful applicant will:

• have an excellent knowledge and academic background in Art

• be a proven outstanding practitioner, qualified to teach Art to KS3 to KS5 to the highest standard

• show innovation and determination to ensure all our students receive a first class education

• make significant contributions to both the department and whole school vision

Tring School is very popular and over-subscribed, serving the town of Tring and the surrounding villages.  It is a mixed Church of England comprehensive school with nearly 1600 students on roll including 400 in the Sixth Form.  Academic attainment is well above average and improving year on year.  The school strives to support and encourage individual growth within a caring community.  We have a talented team of staff who are ambitious to become outstanding in all areas of our work.
