MEALTIME ASSISTANT
Elburton Primary School is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to join the lunchtime team, to lead play and supervise the children during their lunchtime break. The role will include supporting children in the lunch hall, organising team games, providing first aid support and pastoral care to all pupils.
You will be required to work Monday - Friday 11:55 - 13:10. There are 2 positions available - 1 permanent and 1 temporary until 31st August 2027.
We are looking for Mealtime Assistant candidates who:
- Will promote positive behaviour and safe active play in the playground environment
- Will supervise the dining hall whilst encouraging healthy eating, table manners and good hygiene
- Will work together with other school staff and the wider community to ensure that our mission is translated into action.
