About this Role

Are you looking to make a positive difference to children’s school experiences? Boston West Academy is seeking a caring and proactive Relief Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our lunchtime team.

We are a forward-thinking, innovative primary school with a passion for learning beyond the classroom. Much of our curriculum is taught outdoors in our inspirational and award-winning educational school grounds.

Required up to 7.5 hours per week between the hours of 11:30 and 13:30

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervising children during lunchtimes, both indoors and outdoors
  • Assisting with the preparation and clearing of dining areas
  • Supporting children in positive play and activities
  • Working collaboratively with the wider lunchtime team
  • Administering first aid as required

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable and flexible
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Can communicate confidently and clearly in English
  • Has experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • Holds a First Aid Certificate (essential) and Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
