We have an exciting new opportunity to appoint 2 enthusiastic and caring Learning Mentors to support Teachers to ensure that pupils engage more effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through appropriate provision. They will also be required to cover PPA across the academy and work with both individual pupils and small groups. This is a great opportunity to combine mentoring skills whilst working in a supportive environment.

The Medeshamstede Academy opened in a new building in June 2013 to provide education for students from 4- 16. We are an all through Academy in which our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of Autism as their main presenting need. There are currently just over 100 students on roll.
The Academy is on a rapid improvement journey and the new leadership team are working hard to ensure students receive the best education possible.
