About Corby Technical School
and the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an
exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team at Corby Technical School
and contribute to the continued success of this vibrant school in
Northamptonshire. We offer an exceptional working and
learning environment where students are placed at the heart of the learning
experience. Corby Technical School is a fast-paced environment with all the
exciting challenges and opportunities you would expect to find in a fully
comprehensive school, and with this brand-new role comes the potential to be a
part of our aspirational and driven team.
We are looking for an inspirational teacher and confident leader with a proven track record of sustained impact. This role offers the prospect of developing further our innovative Science department. In Science, we have a balance of teachers from all three scientific disciplines, and collaboratively plan to ensure all teachers are engaged with our spiral curriculum. We seek to enrich our students’ learning with opportunities to discover new talents and passions, to learn about the world they live in, and develop values to be proud of. Our students love to learn Science, and many of them continue this interest into Key Stage 5 and beyond. We are fortunate to have bespoke teaching spaces, as well as two full-time technicians to support with the running of the department and ensure the best opportunities are open to our students throughout their time with us. As well as working with the team within the school, you will also be supported by the Director of Science for our trust and will belong to the trust network of schools in the local area to share best practice.
Corby Technical school is an inclusive organisation that seeks to ensure equality of opportunity for all. If you think this looks like the right role for you, we would love to hear from you!
