Stephenson Academy
Stephenson Academy provides education for students both male and female aged between 9 and 16 years. We are the local SEN provision for
students with social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). We pride
ourselves on delivering a high-quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet
the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all. We have a
cohort of staff who are from all walks of life which has created a truly
dynamic and diverse team.
Teacher – Part time - 2 days
a week
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEND allowance

We
are seeking:

A teacher with strong subject knowledge in Maths
and proven experience of teaching Maths to KS3 and/or KS4 pupils with SEMH and
other special educational needs

A
calm and caring person who will thrive in a busy environment, where conflict
resolution makes up a part of everyday life
· While this
post is primarily for a specialist Maths teacher, the ability to contribute to
an additional subject or area of the curriculum would be an advantage as we
continue to rebuild our curriculum offer
