Stephenson Academy provides education for students both male and female aged between 9 and 16 years. We are the local SEN provision for students with social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).  We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all. • A person skilled in building relationships with everyone, no-matter who they are and what their barriers to learning might be
• An understanding individual who can put themselves in other’s shoes but also communicate other perspectives, to enhance our students’ understanding of the world
• A team player, who can work well with staff and students alike and can communicate at the young person’s level in a calm and professional way
• We will consider applicants who have primary teaching experience as we are currently rebuilding our curriculum offer and have identified the need of Key Stage 2 pupils not having sound knowledge, we wish to address these gaps of learning.
