Hours: 37 per week

Contract: Term-time only, 39 weeks 


About us

Stephenson Academy provides education for students aged between 9 and 16 years. We are the local SEN provision for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).  We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all. We are seeking: 
An individual to:  

·         Lead on the delivery of basic motor vehicle studies which can include health and safety in the work environment, engine building and general maintenance. 

·         Prepare students for an accredited awarding body SEG in Motor Vehicles. 

·         Be responsible for the motor vehicle workshop, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that there are sufficient materials and tools available. 

·         Be responsible for the development of schemes of work, lesson planning, the assessment of work and all recording and reporting as well as securing good attendance and maximising course completion.
