About this Role

This is a fixed term position working 26.17 hours per week over 4 days, term time plus two INSET days. The post will commence on 1st September 2026.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, excellent and committed Teaching Assistant to join our successful team at All Saints Academy Darfield. This is a fixed term position and will involve supporting children on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom. You will work alongside a dedicated team to secure the very best outcomes for all our children. Preferably, the successful candidate will have experience of working across at least two relevant key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2).

We are seeking:

• A dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• A person who can work in partnership with children, parents, carers and staff.

• Someone who has experience of working within a school setting.

• A person who has experience of working with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

You must have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and relevant experience.

Educated to NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g supporting teaching & learning, Early Years, child development).

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
