We are seeking a dynamic, creative and enthusiastic full time Class Teacher to join our thriving school community. You will take responsibility for a class of 30 well-behaved, motivated children and work alongside two teachers in your year group, supported by a highly skilled and dedicated team of support staff.
This is an opportunity to teach in an environment where ambition, creativity and high standards go hand in hand — and where you are trusted to innovate and grow.
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners.
Why Join Us?
We hold ourselves and our pupils to high standards. In return, we ensure our teachers receive the support, trust and professional investment they deserve. That’s why we offer:
• Enhanced salary – currently 5% above the main pay scale
• Personal days that can be taken during term time
• Free access to the school’s well-being service
• A friendly, supportive and collaborative team
• High levels of support staff in every year group
• Excellent mentoring and structured support for ECTs
• Exceptional professional development opportunities
• The opportunity to grow your career within an expanding multi-academy trust with a strong record of attainment and achievement
• Opportunities to expand professional networks beyond the Trust through external partnerships
Most importantly, you will teach children who are well behaved, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
The Role
Working collaboratively with your year group team, you will:
• Deliver an ambitious, engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity and achievement
• Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
• Support children to make excellent academic and personal progress
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and standards
• Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
You will have:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
• A passion for high-quality teaching, learning and assessment
• Effective behaviour management skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with children and adults
• The ability to build appropriate, positive and professional relationships with children
• A secure knowledge of the Early Years and Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the flexibility to teach effectively across both phases
We are particularly interested in teachers who bring energy, commitment and creativity to their role and who are excited by the opportunity to be part of a high-achieving, ambitious team. You will be someone who takes pride in your practice, strives for continual improvement, and is motivated to contribute positively to a culture of excellence.
