We are looking for a Lead Practitioner who combines classroom excellence with a genuine commitment to developing others.

This role focuses on strengthening teaching and learning across the academy by modelling high-quality practice, coaching colleagues and designing thoughtful professional development rooted in evidence and impact. It suits someone who combines deep subject expertise with a collaborative spirit, high expectations and a genuine belief that great teaching changes lives.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Model consistently high‑quality teaching, producing resources and demonstrating practice that supports excellent learning.
• Lead coaching, mentoring and training to develop colleagues’ teaching practice and support appraisal processes.
• Use data to identify teaching and pupil needs, implementing targeted strategies to raise achievement.
• Coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities, including observations, learning walks and work scrutinies, to inform improvement planning.
• Research and share best practice, leading on high‑quality professional development across the academy and Trust.
