Are you ready to challenge the status quo and make a difference in the lives of young people?
At Dorothy Goodman School, nurture and respect aren’t just words—they are the foundation of everything we do. We are seeking a visionary, empathetic, and driven Family Support Worker to join our team and empower our pupils to reach exceptional academic, personal, and social outcomes.
In this vital position, you won’t just be a staff member; you will be a catalyst for independence. By building skillful, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals, you will ensure our pupils’ futures remain the ultimate priority.
Working within a highly collaborative team of advocates, you will harness the power of the wider school network to amplify our pupils' voices and bridge the gap between home and school.
The Vision: Facilitate person-centered 'Path Plans', creating an inclusive space where pupils can dream and aspire without limits.
The Impact: Don't stop at the dream. You will be the driving force putting plans into action, ensuring those aspirations become a lived reality.
The Bridge: Act as the core link between families and the school network, providing robust support, guidance, and advocacy to ensure every pupil thrives.
