EQUA Mead Learning Trust is a family of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share best practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing each school’s individual and distinctive character. At EQUA Mead, we are an inclusive,
passionate and forward-looking educational organisation. We are a Trust of
seventeen primary schools, two secondary schools and eight nurseries, all based
in Wiltshire. In addition, we have three additional schools joining us in
September 2025. Across our schools, we also have four Resource Bases that
provide specialist education to children and young people with complex needs.

All about the role:
We have the opportunity for Class Teachers to join our team at The Mead Primary School in Hilperton on a Fixed Term basis.
The
purpose of the job is to

Prepare teaching
materials, set up the classroom and organise displays
·
Plan and teach lessons
and work with small groups of children
·
Mark work and talk to
parents and carers about their children's progress
·
Manage the work of
Teaching Assistants
·
Follow safeguarding
procedures
· Organise trips and other enrichment activities

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed. We will only submit a DBS application to the relevant disclosure service when a position is accepted.
