Shape the Future of Education
— Become a School Governor and Make a Real Difference in Your Community
At Dunton and Wrestlingworth,
we believe every child is like a mustard seed- growing, thriving, and
flourishing within our Church school family.
Our schools nurture every
child, helping them grow through excellent teaching and care. We inspire
children to embrace opportunities, take on responsibilities, and enjoy the
experiences life brings. Each individual is valued, welcomed, and supported to
become the very best they can be, strengthened by the love of God.
Whoever you are, you are
welcome here.
Wrestlingworth CofE Infant
School and Dunton CofE Junior School are two small village schools located a
few miles from Biggleswade and Potton. Both schools were rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED
in December 2023.
We are currently in an
exciting period of growth and transformation, following our transition in
September 2024 from two separate lower schools into split-site Infant and
Junior schools as part of Central Bedfordshire Council’s Schools for the Future
programme.
Wrestlingworth is now the only
dedicated infant school in Central Bedfordshire, providing education for
children from Reception to Year 2, before pupils continue their journey at
Dunton Junior School for Years 3 to 6.
Wrestlingworth Infant and
Dunton Junior C of E Schools Federation are seeking a passionate and committed
individual to take on the voluntary role of Chair of Governors.

governing team, playing a key role in the continued growth, development and
