Wrestlingworth Infant and Dunton Junior C of E Schools Federation are seeking several new governors to join our Governing Body as Co-opted and Foundation Governors.
School governors play a vital strategic role in supporting school leaders through their skills, experience, insight and commitment to education.
Although this is a voluntary position, you will become part of a friendly, supportive and dedicated governing team that contributes significantly to the continued growth and success of our two small village schools.
We are looking for individuals who have:
Experience or specialist skills in areas such as finance, budget management, data analysis, human resources or health and safety would be welcomed, although these are not essential. We are also seeking active members of the church and community who will help uphold the schools’ Christian ethos.
No previous experience in education or school governance is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Time Commitment
5 meetings per year (approximately 3 hours each), held online
2–3 in-person meetings per year with the link governor area you support
Please note these are unpaid voluntary roles.
