About this Role

Data & Exams Manager

Salary: CLPT 07 – CLPT 11  

30 hours per week, (part time or full time hours negotiable)

Term time only

 

Moseley Park School is seeking to appoint a highly organised and analytical Data & Examinations Assistant to lead on all aspects of student data information and to support internal and external examinations administration.

The role will involve supporting key leaders with the administration of all internal and external exams, data management system, tracking and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Examinations

       Support the collection, input, and validation of student data across the school

       Maintain accurate assessment, tracking, and reporting systems (e.g. Arbor

       Maintain and update student records, including admissions, leavers, and timetable changes

       Administer admissions processes (Year 6, mid-year, and Post-16).

       Manage Free School Meals eligibility and reporting to the Local Authority.

       Coordinate all internal and external examinations in line with regulations.

       Manage exam entries, estimated grades, and submissions to awarding bodies

       Produce and circulate exam timetables, seating plans, and candidate information.

       Prepare exam rooms and ensure secure handling of exam materials.

       Act as the main point of contact for examination enquiries

       Ensure all exam processes comply with JCQ and awarding body regulations.

       Monitor deadlines and communicate requirements to staff.

       Report any suspected malpractice to senior leaders.

       Keep up to date with changes in exam regulations and procedures.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

       Have superb organisational and attention to detail skills

       work effectively in a team and motivated to work on own initiative

       have good time management skills and a flexible approach

       Experience of using Arbor

       Experience in a similar role

       Have experience of school data systems and/or examination administration

       Demonstrate excellent organisational and analytical skills

       Be highly accurate with strong attention to detail

       Be able to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure

       Have strong communication skills, working effectively with staff, students and external agencies

       Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
