This is a part time, fixed term role expected to run until the 31st August 2027.

The FTE for this role is flexible and open to negotiation based on the successful candidate's preference during the interview stage. 

This position will be based at our Sixth Form College based at the Tendring Education Centre on Jaywick Lane in Clacton on Sea.


A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

  • To be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, that he/she can teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and raise student achievement.

  • Understanding and applying effective classroom management.

  • Understanding and applying a range of teaching strategies.

  • Use assessment data to evaluate learner’s progress and set appropriate targets for improvement.
