SENIOR LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Permanent – Term Time 

The Norton Knatchbull School is looking for a Senior Learning Support Assistant.  This is a permanent position for 35 hours a week, term time only plus 2 INSET days. Salary is KS C - £26,956 FTE / £21,982.62 pro-rata.  The successful candidate will have experience working 1 to 1 with students within a secondary school environment and ideally will have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification. You will be skilled at engaging and motivating pupils who find learning a challenge and have a good understanding of specific learning difficulties including SEMH, ASD/ASC and ADHD. 

An ability to interact positively with a wide range of people, including teachers, support staff, parents and students aged 11 to 18, are essential.
