The Elms Primary School - Volunteer Reader

This is an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer to join our lovely school. The Elms Primary School is a friendly and successful school looking for a volunteer reader to complement our hardworking team. We are proud to be a part of the Cambrian Learning Trust.

Volunteer School Readers usually volunteer with us for at least 3 months so that we can each get the most from the volunteering experience. However, we are flexible about when you visit so, please let us know if you would prefer a different arrangement.

We expect you to perform your role to the best of your ability and to follow our procedures, policies, codes, including Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures, Health and Safety and equal opportunities, and to comply with our Data Protection policy. You can expect us to deal with you in accordance with our equal opportunities policy.

Volunteers are seen by pupils as safe and trustworthy adults and are in a position of trust. Therefore, our commitment to safeguarding is paramount.
