Key Responsibilities

  • Support the School Business Manager with the day‑to‑day upkeep of the school buildings and grounds

  • Carry out basic maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks

  • Assist with setting up rooms, moving furniture, and preparing spaces for school activities

  • Ensure the site is secure, including opening and locking up the school

  • Monitor cleaning standards and support cleaning duties when required

  • Report health and safety concerns promptly and help maintain compliance

  • Support with deliveries, waste management, and general site organisation

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Is practical, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining high standards

  • Can work independently and as part of a team

  • Has good communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude

  • Is willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks

  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security

  • Ideally has experience in a similar role (though training can be provided)

Hours of Work

37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern:

Early Shift 6.30am to 2.30pm (2pm Friday)

Middle Shift 8am to 4pm (3.30pm Friday)

Late Shift 11am to 7pm (6.30pm Friday).

School holidays.8am to 4pm

Closing Date - Friday 1st May 2026 at 9am

Interviews - Wednesday 6th May 2026
