What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Science/Biology Technician, organised, practical, and passionate about supporting science education. A dedicated Science/Biology Technician to join our successful Science Department and help inspire students across Years 7–13.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in science to play a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning within a busy secondary school environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up and clear away materials and equipment for practical lessons and demonstrations.
Maintain laboratories, preparation rooms and storage areas to a high standard.
Assist staff in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum.
Maintain, repair and modify scientific equipment where appropriate.
Manage stock levels, inventories and ordering of equipment, books and consumables.
Dispose of waste safely in accordance with regulations.
Support health and safety procedures, identifying and reporting faults or hazards.
