Hours: 36.50 hours, all year round

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: NSC5 SCP (12 - 18) £28,598 - £31,537

What We’re Looking For: 

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Technician with strong technical ability and a proven track record of delivering reliable, high‑quality IT support. You will bring confidence across a wide range of technologies, excellent problem‑solving skills and the professionalism needed to support a busy school environment.

We want an organised and adaptable professional who can work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain a secure, efficient and modern digital infrastructure. You will take pride in supporting staff and students, communicating clearly and contributing to the continuous improvement of our ICT provision.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support resolving day‑to‑day IT issues for staff and students efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain and repair equipment ensuring all devices, peripherals and classroom technologies remain operational and reliable
• Install and configure systems including hardware, software, images and updates across the school environment.
• Support network operations assisting with the upkeep of wired and wireless networks, connectivity and core services.
• Manage IT assets keeping accurate records of equipment, stock levels and lifecycle changes.
• Promote safe and effective IT use guiding staff and pupils on appropriate, secure and confident use of technology.
• Contribute to ICT development offering technical insight to support improvements, upgrades and long‑term planning.
