  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and external agencies, acting as a key point of contact to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Work with vulnerable students and families, implementing targeted support plans and liaising with external professionals, including social care, Early Help services, CAMHS, and other specialist agencies.
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding records and monitoring systems, ensuring timely responses to concerns, effective use of CPOMS, and compliance with all safeguarding and confidentiality requirements

Pay range: NJC 28 - 32 £39,152 - £42,839 + Inner London £4,000 - 37 Hours, 52 weeks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant safeguarding qualification and/or training, with a strong understanding of child protection procedures and statutory safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Experience of working with children, families, and external agencies, particularly in safeguarding, pastoral support, attendance, behaviour, or SEND.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents/carers, staff, and partner agencies.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage sensitive information, prioritise workloads, maintain accurate records, and work effectively under pressure.
