JOB TITLE: HR Assistant
BASED AT: Samuel Whitbread Academy
RESPONSIBLE TO: Vice Principal (Staffing)
GRADE: NJC Scale Level 4D Pts 15-120 (£26,000 - £28,228 actual amount)
HOURS: 37.00 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, term-time only plus one additional week and 5 designated staff training days.
The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 11 schools and five nurseries. We are looking to appoint a committed, flexible and enthusiastic candidate to this challenging and fulfilling role within our Academy . We expect our HR Assistant to have excellent communication skills and take a fair and consistent approach regarding HR processes, whilst providing an efficient and methodical HR administration service to all staff in school. Attention to detail is a must along with an approachable manner.
The holder of this post will be solely responsible for updating and maintaining the School Central Record, ensuring that all pre-employment checks for new staff are completed to satisfactory standard prior to them joining the Academy.
This position is offered on a full-time, permanent contract working Monday to Friday.
This
role will involve working closely with the pupils at Samuel Whitbread Academy and you will be engaging in regulated activity with children.
