We're looking for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join us on a temporary basis to help us support students with various SEND needs overcome their barriers to learning through specialist provisions. 

  • This is a fixed term contract until July 2026.
  • The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) 
  • This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days.

A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

  • Working with individuals or small groups of children in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Proactively supporting students with activities designed to enhance numeracy and literacy
  • Supporting SEN students in gaining the ability to utilise IT in the classroom
  • Working with SEN students to foster their development as independent learners

  • A good standard of education (ideally Maths/English GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent);
  • A commitment to high standards of achievement from students and yourself;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act on your own initiative.
