We are seeking an inspirational Year Leader to join our established pastoral team. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced teacher and form tutor who is driven by the desire to see every young person succeed.

  • Salary: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale (M1 - U3) + TLR 2B (£5,875)

A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

    • Teaching through the secondary range for Key Stages 3 & 4 (including teaching outside of your main subject, if necessary). 

      • Raising the standards of student attainment and achievement within the year group, establishing high standards.

        • Monitoring and taking accountability for the outcomes of each student’s learning within the year group.

          • Leading and managing a team of tutors and taking responsibility for organising and monitoring the work of the tutor team.

            • Liaising with the Attendance Officer to monitor the attendance and punctuality of students in the year group.

              • Using IT to plan and teach lessons and to communicate across the school community.

              What We're Looking For:
              You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:

              • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

              • The ability to teach lessons that challenge all students

              • A passion for teaching and making a real difference to young people

              • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
