We
are looking to expand our team of Exam Invigilators who work on a flexible
basis during exam periods.
Successful candidates should be confident and caring, have clear and confident verbal communication skills in English, strong attention to detail and strong observation skills. They should have good interpersonal skills, the ability to form positive relationships with young people, and to approach all tasks with patience and good humour.
Contract: Temporary/Casual
Salary: £12.50 per hour plus 12.5% holiday pay (£14.06 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: flexible during exam periods (October, November, February, March, May, June).
Interview: Interviews will take place on Thursday 8th January 2026.
We require you to be available for at least five of the 10 exam sessions each week, during each of the following exam periods:
· May – June (upcoming dates are 11 May – 15 June 2026, excluding half-term which is 25 – 29 May 2026)
· the week before the October half term and the two weeks after half term in November (upcoming dates are 19 October – 13 November 2026, excluding half-term which is 26 – 30 October 2026)
Morning exam sessions usually start at 7:45am and afternoon sessions start at 12:00pm. A typical session lasts approximately three hours.
We will need you to complete some mandatory training before working your first exam session. We also need you to be available for our annual Invigilator meeting on Monday 27 April 2026 (prior to the start of the summer exams).
