We're looking for a calm, caring and enthusiastic Reflection Room Manager to become a vital part of our community and help us continue to create a school that is characterised by positivity, challenge, and enjoyment. The Reflection Room is a significant part of our school, which supports students who need to have an opportunity to reflect on their behaviour and consider how they improve their own experience in school.

The Reflection Room Manager will oversee the students’ structured work whilst they are in the Reflection Room.  This will include monitoring and supporting them with work on their core subjects as well as overseeing their therapeutic interventions associated with the reason for them being placed in the Reflection Room.

• The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week

• This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time, non-pupil days.

A Day in the Life:

• You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

• To manage the Reflection Room (RR); organising students when they arrive and ensuring students are kept on task

• To be responsible for resources in the RR, including the preparation of reflection and education resources

• To maintain a strong discipline and work approach

• Monitor the work and behaviour to ensure they are meeting the required standards

What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:

• Successful recent experience working with secondary age children

• English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/Grade 4 or above

• Working knowledge of key aspects of the National Curriculum

• To be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and situations
