To deliver high quality after
school activities in accordance with school policies and procedures

To support the school’s responsibilities to
provide opportunities for the academic and personal development of students

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
●
To develop confidence and competence in the
activity/area of expertise you teach
●
Monitor the progress of students
●
Ensure that you have the necessary resources
● Liaise with the ExtraTime Coordinator about students’ progress or concerns
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
●
To deliver and develop a thriving Extra-Time
club as part of the CNS Extra-Time programme.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND WELL-BEING
●
Develop opportunities for students to extend
their learning through extra-curricular opportunities
●
Commitment to planned session dates and to
give early notice for absent sessions
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
●
Lead by example, creating a positive ethos
and modelling high standards of professional behaviour
●
Uphold the school’s policies and procedures,
especially those related to behaviour and health and safety
●
Promote and model good relationships with
students, parents and staff
●
Support the social, personal, spiritual and
cultural well-being of students as an effective after school coach
●
Supervise students as they enter and leave
your activity according to best practice and policy
●
In your teaching spaces implement school
policies and procedures related to Health and Safety. Report all Health and Safety issues and
defects to The Community Learning Lead.
Be fully familiar with emergency evacuation plans and potentially
hazardous resources or activities
