Start Date:            1st September 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and nurturing practitioner who is committed to helping pupils with additional needs achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will ideally have a primary teaching background and experience adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs, including moderate learning difficulties and speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs

·       Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

·       Differentiate teaching strategies to support varied abilities and communication styles

·       Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams

·       Monitor progress and celebrate pupil achievement both academically and personally

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·       Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

·       Experience working within SEN settings or supporting pupils with additional needs

·       A primary-trained approach with strong literacy teaching skills

·       Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills

·       Patience, resilience, creativity, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
