About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business professional who is passionate about education and wants to make a genuine difference to children's lives. Working closely with the Headteacher and Governing Board, you will play a pivotal role in the school, leading our business functions and helping ensure Woodland View continues to thrive both educationally and financially.

As our School Business Manager, you will fulfil the statutory roles of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, leading on financial planning, business operations and compliance. You will be a trusted professional adviser to the Headteacher and Governing Board, helping to maximise resources, develop effective systems and support the long-term sustainability of our school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong financial management and business experience.

  • Thinks strategically whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

  • Enjoys improving systems, solving problems and finding smarter ways of working.

  • Builds positive relationships and communicates confidently with staff, governors and external partners.
