Working hours: between 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: Grade 6 Full‑time equivalent: £25,995 – £26,409
Actual pro‑rata salary: £22,248.39

The Role
We are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is central to the smooth running of the school and provides a vital point of contact for pupils, families, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Acting as the first point of contact at reception for visitors, parents, staff, and pupils
Overseeing School meals – ensuring ordering is accurate and pupil accounts are up to date
Supporting with all communication letters to parents and the administration of trip letters
Ordering and invoicing
Managing the school calendars
Supporting with the annual review process

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Empathy and understanding of young people with additional needs
Resilience, flexibility, and a positive “can‑do” attitude
The confidence to use initiative
The role requires a high level of confidentiality
Working Pattern
The role is term‑time only (38 weeks) with an additional 5 training days.
Three of these days will be worked during school training days in August 2026
The remaining days will be agreed with the Business Manager/Heads of School
Safeguarding and Pre‑Employment Checks
The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to an
Enhanced DBS check.
