We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed primary-trained teacher to join our established team to work alongside our experienced primary practitioner who has been supporting students with the transition to secondary school for the past six years. The role mainly focuses on working with students who have SEND, while also addressing gaps in learning and providing targeted academic support.
Mrs Brittain, our current primary trained Learning Support Teacher says "I am thrilled for our department to grow and for us to benefit further from employing an additional primary teacher. This role is a unique and rewarding opportunity which highly values the nurturing and adaptable qualities that teachers working in primary schools develop. Although at first daunted, I was so excited to join Stanborough in 2020 as this was a new and uncommon role that I knew could make a difference. It is a privilege to work with students one to one, in pairs and small groups which allows me to build relationships and understand their strengths and support their evolving needs. Working in this role has also allowed me to develop my knowledge and skill set as inclusion and SEND have always been a passion of mine. As our student needs vary every year and the role changes in response, I am looking forward to working collaboratively and seeing how we can further develop Stanborough's provision."
This full-time position would equally suit an experienced teacher or an early career primary trained teacher for whom excellent induction and support is provided.
