About this Role

We seek to appoint an excellent Head of PE who is ready to take on the challenge of inspiring an already outstanding department to new heights.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher with high ambition to make a significant contribution to our Ofsted Outstanding school whilst being coached and nurtured to become an exceptional middle/senior leader.

Our co-curricula provision is fantastic with a vast variety of clubs and teams participating at local, regional and national levels every week.

The post holder will benefit from excellent facilities including a state of the art sports hall, dance studio, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and full size 3G Astroturf; and will have the full backing of the leadership team to ensure that our practical provision is first class both in and out of lessons.

You will have proven experience in:

  • Enthusing and motivating students of all ability levels
  • Teaching PE up to A Level
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes in PE
