About this Role

Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher of Politics, Philosophy & Ethics?

We are seeking an exceptional practitioner to join our Humanities Faculty as third in faculty and Lead teacher for Politics, Philosophy & Ethics. As third in faculty, you will work closely with the Head of Faculty and Deputy Head of Faculty to drive high standards of teaching, learning and outcomes at A Level, playing a key role in shaping our Sixth Form provision.

Key responsibilities include:

  •         Leading A Level Politics, Philosophy & Ethics 
  •        Contributing to curriculum planning, assessment and resource development
  •         Monitoring student progress and supporting high achievement
  •         Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the department

 The ideal candidate will:

  •          Be a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge
  •          Have experience of teaching at A Level with a record of positive outcomes
  •          Demonstrate leadership potential, strong organisation and teamwork
  •          Be passionate about post‑16 education and academic excellence
