Assistant School Business Manager
Salary: Grade 5 Point 13 FTE £33,012 (Actual salary £30,137.54) 36 hours per week, 42 weeks per year.
This role is term time only plus three additional weeks. We are happy to discuss flexible working hours and start/finish times for the right candidate.Required: The beginning of May 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant School Business Manager to support the effective management of the school’s business and operational functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who believes in our vision and values, to work in a school that is excellently resourced and fully committed to supporting and developing their staff.
We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable and conscientious with high expectations in line with the school
Demonstrates great communication skills with all within the school community
Has a neat appearance in line with the school policy
Has the ability to work as part of a successful team and work effectively under pressure
Has strong knowledge of financial procedures and controls and experience of working in a finance or accounts function
Has a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
Is able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Is able to demonstrate teamwork skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach
Is able to monitor budgets and expenditure effectively
Has awareness of GDPR and confidentiality procedures, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when required
Is able to work independently and use own initiative
