37 Hours | Term Time | Monday to Friday  

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Starting Salary£22,860.66 (FTE £26,578) 

The role:    

We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified SEMH Specialist Learning Support Assistant to work alongside pupils with complex needs at Etone College. At Etone College, we want the best for every single child, and our Learning Support Assistants are vital in achieving this. There should be no barriers to learning and strong Learning Support Assistants will help young people be successful in school while preparing them for success in their future careers.  

The main purpose of this role will be to work alongside smaller groups of pupils that require expert support. The successful candidate will be supporting Teachers with curriculum delivery and wider cultural capital experiences and opportunities.  

About you:    

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, supportive and a compassionate individual committed to assisting our pupils and providing a positive learning environment. Main skills and experience will include:  

  • Holding a Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant; 

  • Having previous experience within a similar role and learning environment; 

  • Having an understanding of the national curriculum and other learning programmes and strategies; 

  • The ability to remain calm when under pressure.
