About this Role

        Hours: - 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 3.15pm to 6.15pm

        Contract type: - Part-time, all year-round role contract. Please note that holiday leave is to be taken during school closure periods. 

        We are seeking a part-time Site Supervisor for our friendly school. The Wickford Church of England School has it's children at its HEART. The successful applicant will be supported by the Trust Estates and Facilities Manager in keeping our school buildings and grounds safe, smart, compliant and fit for providing a high-quality education for our children.  

        Duties will include: 

        • Opening and closing of school site
        • Key holding 
        • Liaising with contractors
        • Carry out routine tests to meet legal compliance i.e. testing of water temperatures, fire extinguishers etc
        • Minor repairs to equipment and buildings 
        • Preparing the school premises and site for out of school activities. 
        • Replenishing stock 
        • Manual handling of deliveries, checking them off and reporting any shortfall 
        • Decorating 
        • Litter picking 
        • Cleaning 
        • Keeping the outside area tidy including sweeping and minor gardening
