About this Role

At South Axholme Academy, we are looking for:

Your line manager will be the Teacher of SEND in the Compass Provision.

Primarily, this role will involve working within a designated SEND Resource Provision to support colleagues in delivering a bespoke curriculum tailored to students with SEND and/or SEMH needs. The post-holder will demonstrate an inclusive approach to teaching, adapting language and pedagogy to ensure students are engaged, respectful, and ready to learn.

Key responsibilities will include supporting students and staff during their time in the Compass Inclusion Provision, assisting in the delivery of lessons and targeted interventions to address learning, behaviour, social, and emotional needs, and responding to situations as they arise on a daily basis.
