Deliver
and assess lessons for whole classes based on plans provided by a teacher or
subject leader.

In the absence of a teacher, to be solely responsible for a class of
students, ensuring they are engaged in their learning.

Plan,
teach, and assess individual students or small groups within the classroom as
directed.
·
Take
full responsibility for supervising a class in a teacher’s absence, ensuring
students remain engaged with the learning activities set.
·
Manage student behaviour effectively and
respond to immediate issues or emergencies in line with academy policy.
·
Support students in accessing and completing
work, including assistance with literacy, numeracy, and organisational skills
where required.
·
Liaise
with teachers and relevant staff to ensure clarity on lesson content and expectations
and prepare appropriately for supervision.
·
Provide
feedback to the class teacher regarding student engagement and any concerns
arising during the lesson.
