Teacher of Health & Social Care
Central Learning Partnership Trust is a dynamic and thriving Multi-Academy Trust, proudly encompassing sixteen schools across all phases, both mainstream and special, located in the vibrant communities of Wolverhampton, Rotherham, and Worcestershire.
Heath Park is part of CLPT and is a successful and expanding school. We have a genuine commitment to both the academic and personal development of our young people. Our fantastic team of dedicated teachers and associate staff encourage and support an ethos of hard work, dedication and commitment to learning which is complemented by an extensive extra-curricular offer to all students. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create inclusive and supportive environments where every student can thrive. Teachers have an innovative, open and collaborative approach and our students are engaged and inspired in their learning.
We are seeking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic Health & Social Care teacher with a record of outstanding practice, either in post or in training. Candidates should have the ability to deliver a mastery of concepts to instill knowledge and application of the subject. Candidates should have a knowledge of course specifications, together with a capacity to excite students with a range of innovative teaching and learning strategies to challenge and develop creative thinking.
This post will bring greater flexibility and further capacity to the team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all three Key Stages. You will be joining a progressive and forward-thinking school with a wealth of opportunity for professional development. We pride ourselves on our pupil-centric nature of working which consistently leads to excellent outcomes for the young people we teach. We are continually looking to develop our ability to lead enrichment activities outside the classroom through trips, external visitors and extra-curricular clubs. All staff within the department have the opportunity to lead on these.
We are unrelenting in our determination to provide the highest quality learning experiences for our students and so this is an exciting opportunity if you are an ambitious, high calibre professional.
