The successful candidate will deliver high-quality
Drama lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5, ignite a passion for performance and
creativity, and contribute to a culture of excellence and expression. Drama is
a valued subject at The Streetly Academy, with strong senior leadership support
and excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level
At Key Stage 3, Drama is taught for one lesson per
week, providing students with a broad and engaging foundation. At Key Stage 4 and
5, students follow the OCR GCSE/A Level Drama specification. Experience of
teaching OCR is desirable but not essential; however, a working knowledge of
the specification would be advantageous.

We are looking for:

An enthusiastic and inventive Teacher of Drama
with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and a willingness to teach
at Key Stage 5

classroom

extracurricular activities, including drama clubs, school plays and musical
productions

The ability to teach another performing arts

The successful applicant will be supported by an
excellent department and will have the opportunity to complete the Level 1 TEEP
(Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme) as part of their professional
