The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5, ignite a passion for performance and creativity, and contribute to a culture of excellence and expression. Drama is a valued subject at The Streetly Academy, with strong senior leadership support and excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level

At Key Stage 3, Drama is taught for one lesson per week, providing students with a broad and engaging foundation. At Key Stage 4 and 5, students follow the OCR GCSE/A Level Drama specification. Experience of teaching OCR is desirable but not essential; however, a working knowledge of the specification would be advantageous.

We are looking for:

●        An enthusiastic and inventive Teacher of Drama with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and a willingness to teach at Key Stage 5

●        A committed team player with a passion for Drama and the wider performing arts, who can bring creativity and energy to the classroom

●        A teacher who is fully prepared to engage in extracurricular activities, including drama clubs, school plays and musical productions

●        An individual committed to delivering active and engaging learning that motivates and inspires young people

●        A teacher who can set targets that stretch and challenge students of all abilities and backgrounds

●        A professional with a strong commitment to their own continued professional development

●        The ability to teach another performing arts subject would be an advantage
