Designated Safeguarding Lead
– Non-teaching - Extended Leadership
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, committed, and highly effective
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our Extended Leadership Team. This
is a pivotal non-teaching role responsible for leading and managing all aspects
of safeguarding and child protection across the school.
The successful candidate will champion a strong safeguarding culture,

operational oversight to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding practice.
About the School
Burnt Mill is a caring and friendly school and
our students tell us that when they come to school, they feel happy, safe and
they enjoy their learning. This positive environment, where our students are
supported and inspired to be the best that they can possibly be, enables every
child to thrive. Indeed, many pupils enjoy school life so much that they often
stay until 5.00 pm to continue their studies or to participate in
extra-curricular activities.
About the Trust
