About this Role

Level 3 Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Offsite Support

King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool  - Part of the Great Schools Trust

King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool is seeking a compassionate, resilient and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 offsite support for a Year 11 student.

This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting a young person to successfully engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with the student to support their engagement with GCSE English and Maths, while providing consistent behaviour support and encouragement to help them re-engage with education. The role will initially be based full-time at King's Phoenix Offsite Provision, where the successful candidate will work directly with the student on a one-to-one basis, rather than in a classroom environment with other pupils.

The student has previously attended several alternative provisions and has found it difficult to engage in larger learning environments. However, he responds well to consistent one-to-one support, and this role is designed to provide the stability, encouragement and structure needed to support his progress. The position will remain based at Phoenix until the student completes Year 11. Following this, the role will become more flexible and will return to being primarily based at King’s Leadership Academy LiverpoolThe teaching element of the role will focus solely on GCSE English and Maths, using pre-prepared resources provided by the school. There is no expectation for lesson planning or marking.
