Great Schools Trust
Location: Liverpool Hub — initially based at King’s Liverpool, moving to King’s Hawthornes in due course
Great Schools Trust is seeking a proactive, customer-focused ICT Support Officer to support the smooth running of ICT systems across our Liverpool Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with people and providing high-quality technical support in a busy school environment. The role will initially be based primarily at King’s Liverpool, supporting staff and students with day-to-day ICT issues, before moving to King’s Hawthornes as the Liverpool Hub develops.
You will provide first-line ICT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support devices including tablets, maintain accurate helpdesk and asset records, and help ensure that classroom technology, networks and systems operate effectively. You will also work closely with the Trust's central IT team, external suppliers, and school colleagues to deliver a reliable, professional, and solutions-focused ICT service.
The successful candidate will have practical ICT support experience, strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm, organised and professional when responding to technical issues. You will be confident supporting PCs, laptops, tablets, peripherals, Microsoft systems, user accounts and common applications. Experience in a school or education setting would be helpful, but is not essential.
