We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant
Head of Year to support the vital work of our Heads of Year in managing student
behaviour and maximising the achievement of individuals and groups. You
will have a commitment to the inclusive and restorative ethos of Ormiston Endeavour
Academy and to the academic achievement of all students.
The post is offered working 37 hours per week,
40 working weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks to include personal
development days).
Ormiston Endeavour Academy is an 11-16
secondary Academy situated in north-east Ipswich. As an Academy which has seen
significant growth over the last two academic years, we take pride in the high
levels of support, care and challenge we offer all of our students.
Endeavour students are warm, welcoming and willing to push themselves to
succeed. Our staff are committed to providing a caring yet challenging
environment in which young people can learn, develop and achieve to their full

curriculum is organised to allow a course of study that is broad, rich and

need in order to overcome any barriers that may be preventing them from
