We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and inspirational Teacher of Humanities to contribute fully to the future development of our expanding Humanities faculty at the academy. You will have the ability to teach Geography to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 with the possibility of Key Stage 5 as well. 

If you are able to motivate all students to achieve or exceed their target grades, if you are passionate about Geography teaching, have an interest in being at the cutting edge and are driven to ensure students receive the best possible experience, then this job is for you.  

You will be joining an excellent Humanities faculty that has a relentless focus on raising achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher. All our ECT’s are well supported by an excellent induction programme. 

The ideal candidate must have the following: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status. 
  • Be versatile to take on a range of activities 
  • Have the ability to work within a larger team 
  • Have high expectations of all learners 
  • Ability to teach out of subject if required 

The successful candidate will be committed to raising achievement by motivating, challenging, and inspiring students, while demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusion. They will contribute to fostering a culture of high expectations and academic success within the department, bringing drive, enthusiasm, resilience, warmth, and a sense of humour to their role. In addition, they will have opportunities to play an active part in the wider life and ethos of the Academy.
